The High School Placement Test (HSPT) is a standardized exam used by many private and parochial high schools in the United States to assess the academic abilities of prospective students. Below is an overview of the HSPT, along with the skills it tests and preparation tips.
Group courses are taught in conjunction with the COOP HSPT, TACHS and SHSAT with the SHSAT being the primary focus due to the content being more rigorous for this exam.
HSPT Prep Options
● HSPT Skills Prep (6 Months):
Deep content built across all five subtests with diagnostics, data-driven study plans,
spaced practice, and periodic benchmarks.
● HSPT Crash Course (8 Weeks):
Targeted review of high-yield content and timing strategies with full-length timed
practice.
● HSPT 1:1 Intensive (Flexible):
Personalized syllabus by subtest and pacing aligned to test date.
All options are available virtually in small groups or 1:1, with instructor feedback and weekly study plans. For convenience and content overlap, COOP, HSPT, and TACHS are taught together in combined sections.
