The COOP (Cooperative Admissions Examination Program) is used by Catholic high schools to
evaluate prospective students’ readiness for high school–level coursework across multiple
academic areas.
High School Admission: Used by Catholic high schools to evaluate applicants.
Placement: Helps determine the appropriate level of coursework for incoming students.
COOP Prep Options
● COOP Skills Prep (6 Months):
Comprehensive program covering Verbal Reasoning, Reading, Language Arts, and
Math with diagnostics, targeted practice, strategy lessons, and periodic progress checks.
● COOP Crash Course (8 Weeks):
Fast-track review of core content and test-taking strategies with timed practice.
● COOP 1:1 Intensive (Flexible):
Personalized plan and pacing aligned to strengths, gaps, and test date.
All COOP options are available virtually in small groups or 1:1, with instructor feedback and clear study plans. For convenience and content overlap, COOP, HSPT, and TACHS are taught together in combined sections.
Skill Development
✅ Vocabulary: Build a strong vocabulary through reading and practice with synonyms and antonyms.
✅ Logic and Deduction: Practice identifying relationships between words and ideas
✅ Main Idea Identification: Learn to identify the main idea and supporting details in a passage.
✅ Inference Skills: Practice drawing conclusions from the text.
✅ Understanding Context: Work on understanding the meaning of words or phrases based on context.
✅ Grammar and Usage: Familiarize yourself with standard grammar rules, punctuation, and sentence structure.
